Hi not sure if you remember me. I have written on a number of occasions over the years to thank the team at 5305 of the fantastic job you guys do in keeping those locomotives running.
I have my favourite out of 5305's resident Loco's its 70013.. Well out of the whole British fleet really. I follow the loco through the many Youtube uploaders especially Austin (ACW71000).. (Have Hornby model as well to boot). I spend many Saturday Mornings watching the locos haul its many followers and passengers around Britain. Anyway my partner Leanne and I have saved our pennies and finally we are booked with our flights and with the touring company for the Great Britain V... we are on the rails... cannot tell you how excited I am.. Well Day 5 on the leg is the moment I will live for.. Man.. We have paid the extra for the trip from Glascow to Stranraer.. Day 6 from Glascow to Preston will be another highlight.. I am not a praying man but please be gentle with that loco until we get there... (we are coming from the land down under).
